This Arbequina from the family farm Finca Duernas near Córdoba in Spain welcomes you with a sweet, fruity start. Notes of tomato and banana gradually unfold, followed by a pleasant pungency at the end. An oil for moments when you want to give a simple dish something extra.
How it tastes
A sweet-seeming start, fruity notes and a peppery finish. Tomato and banana are the oil's natural flavour notes — no added flavourings.
What it goes with
Try it on fresh bread, in a tomato salad or on roasted vegetables. Add a few drops to finished fish or a delicate creamy soup just before serving.
From a family farm in Andalusia
Finca Duernas grows its olives on its own farm and processes them in its own mill right on the farm. An early harvest and a short journey from tree to mill help preserve their fresh aroma and taste.
